Refund Policy

1. Principle

Take.Me sells travel plans as digital content, provided immediately after payment. By ticking the box before payment, the customer requests immediate access to the plan and waives their 14-day withdrawal right in accordance with Article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code and Directive 2011/83/EU. See section 4 of the terms and conditions for more details.

2. Refund cases

Take.Me grants a full refund, upon request made within 14 days of purchase, in the following cases:

  1. Technical failure: the plan was not generated, is incomplete or is unusable.
  2. Duplicate payment: the same plan was paid for twice.
  3. Insufficient quality: the plan contains substantial errors (closed or non-existent places, false information, a schedule inconsistent with your request). A reasoned request is mandatory. This quality refund is limited to one per account.

Plans unlocked with a promo code are not eligible for a refund, as no payment was made.

3. How to request a refund

From your account, open “My trips” and click “Request a refund” on the relevant plan, within 14 days of payment. Alternatively, write to contact@gotakeme.com within the same period, stating the Paddle order reference (received by email) and a brief description of the problem (technical failure, duplicate payment or insufficient quality, with reasons in the latter case).

Each request is reviewed and you will receive a reply by email within 5 business days.

To report an error without requesting a refund, use the “Report a problem” button available on each plan.

4. Refund processing

If your request is accepted, the refund is made by Paddle (our approved reseller, merchant of record) to the original payment method, and appears within 5 to 10 business days. The refunded plan is deactivated and access revoked.

5. Your other rights

This refund policy does not limit your mandatory rights under the law of your country of residence. You also have the protections provided by the Paddle refund policy.
